I heard the most mind boggling thing from my Pastor the other day. He said there are over 7000 promises from God in the Bible. He dared us to attach a promise to our problem when praying to God about a situation.
I want to challenge you to do the same. I have listed a few that promises that I remind God of daily when I talk to Him.
Psalms 27:13-14 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
2 Corinthians 9:8, 10 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Hebrews 4:7 God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” “Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Psalms 37:23-25 The LORD makes firm the steps of those who delight in him; though they stumble, they will not fall, for the LORD upholds them with his hand. I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
2 Corinthians 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight.
Isaiah 54:4 “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth
